Hi Oofers - Happy Friday night everyone!
I usually park my Miggy round the back of my house in a nice quiet alley, but parked it out front tonight (for the first time!) and the alarm goes off every time a bus goes past. Buses round here are really loud barstewards.
Is there any way to turn down the sensitivity of the alarm system to external vibrations/noises etc?
Thanks in advance.

That could be the bonnet switch needs bending slightly , the vibration of the heavy traffic could be causing a slight movement of the bonnet which activates the switch :y

Thanks LFF64...so the switch isn't quite making the best contact with the bonnet that it can?

Quite a common occurrence

Try unplugging it for a while, that way you can rule out the switch one way or the other. Bonnet switches will often trigger the alarm as the large bonnet heats up in the sun which then closes the switch contacts triggering the alarm. :y :y :y

As AndyB suggests, unplug bonnet switch for a week or so, see if that cures it. If it does, it requires adjusting. If it doesn't, you need to look elsewhere :y

Or take a drive down the M3, Kevin Wood will be able to tell you exactly why its going off...
