Title: New Zafira
Post by: TheBoy on 26 March 2012, 10:07:49
Was following one the other day, and it damned on me the extreme lengths the Opel designers must have gone to to make it look identical, from the back, to a Galaxy ;D

Yeah i noticed that , considering buying a new one of those ...someone told me one of the vauxhalls uses a FIAT engine and not to buy as they have had loads of callbacks on engine problems or is that another vx model  :-\

Saw the tv ad for it last night, thought exactly the same looks just like a Galaxy, did anyone else see the write up in yesterdays Sunday mirror re Vauxhalls ,lose the most value amongst new cars due to being heavily discounted to start with, so think carefully before handing over your wedge!

But the newer Galaxy looks far better. ;)

I think I'd be buying the new Alhambra. They seem to hold on to their value well. Had two now and I'm impressed. However it is just a Ford/VW just without the badge snobbery

But as the Zafira is based on an Astra isn't it based on a smaller platform than the Galaxy/Sharon/AlahamberaerSeat ? :-\

Yup.

It was just as I was approaching it on the motorway, I'd assumed it was a Galaxy (or VW or Seat). As I overtook, it damned on me it was too small, then I saw the Vx badge.  I had to let overtake so I could rear what it was ;D
