Is this about right on about a ten mile journey at 60 with cruise control on?? :-[ also how do i find serial number on my cd changer and if its a CDC2?? TIA
-
That would seem about right for a V6 :y

Sound. I thought it was quite good myself. Was expecting worse. Anyone know anythin on other question??

Mine shows around 34/35 at a steady 60 with cruise :-/
I must be driving it wrong ;D

The further I go the more i get. It goes up 1 . of an mpg every 2 mins or so. :D How stupid am I the cdc is only held in by a small bolt. LOL. just wasnt by car at time of writing. ;D
-
On some runs I only get 18mpg, but that is at 100mph

You should be closer to 35-37ish. I suggest you reset the average when you have engaged cruise to get you a better picture. hold the bottom button on the RHS stalk and it should reset.
also it will depend on where your 10 miles are, if you are climbing then you will get less MPG than going downhill. sounds odd but a colleague drives from Tewksebury to Birmingham. get's better MPG going home than coming to work. He puts it down to birmingham being higher above Tewksebury

i get worse economy leaving work and better economy going i have a simple theory for this though in the morning i am slow as i dont want to be there and in the eves i rush home!
in all fairness 28.8mpg is preety good for a v6 my 3l returns around 21-34 depending on the journey
-
Sounds good considering 5 minutes of the journey are during the warm up cycle!
-
Ow yes, there are two versions of CDC2, one that mates to the CCRT700 and one that covers the other radio options.

If its to reset the fuel computer, its the bottom right side. Bottom left to switch off cruise...
