I have been weighing up a job at my daughter's where to get at a loose slab and remove cement beneath in order to re-cement and return to same level has got a lot of complications.
so I was googling and it appears I can use a tactile adhesive which will do the job - ie.sticking the slab on top of the old cement effectively - anyone tried this at all? what brands?

Bluetack ? ::)
Maybe something like 'No More Nails' would do it. :y

If I was doing this Job I would knock off the old cement mix from the slab itself and then clear from around where it was. I would then just knock up a wet mix of cement... sod all the other farting about ;)

I needed similar the day we moved into our house 13 odd years ago...

This seems to have worked - fingers crossed - cheers - it is actually called Gripfill - green tubes - Evostick product - thanks all. With this stuff didn't need to break out the ground too much beneath - would have needed a lot of bashing or kango and would have dislodged the other slabs. Got enough out with angle grinder and chisels.
