after posting earlier to you i went out to mine and would start then cut out straight away tried several attempts to start it but no joy, try disconnecting the maff sensor and see if it starts and runs,it worked for me and i was'nt getting any codes coming up :y (worth a try imo) :y
-
will try thanks but what and where is maff sencor will check it out in morning will let you know
-
look at air filter housing follow the pipe on right hand side as you look at it from the front of car,you will see a short section connected to it with a multi plug connector that is the maff air flow sensor just disconnect the plug from it and see if it starts and runs, it worked for me all i have to do is source a new maff sensor.
you can drive it with the sensor disconnected but the eml light will come on when you get the display working that is :y may not work but it did for me h.t.h :y

must say thanks to all who replyed very helpful to a new member :D :D :D :D
