Title: Wanted TD ECU

Can't seem to post in wanted section,m not sure why but could you please move for me?

Wanted, replacement ECU for a 2000 Turbo Diesel. Mine has the letters "JM" so I suppose the new one will have to be the same. Other numbers are:-

2247368 203
078

BOSCH 0 281 001 428

Made in Germany
90 494 180
B 96006

More than that - there are 4 different ones fitted to the UK spec TD, and yours is from a X25DT auto. Anything else is incompatible.

Ive got one somewhere but not sure of the number on it, But the one thing I do know is that it is chipped to +10 :o, i`ll dig it out if there is enough light in the garage & check the number.

Ive just dug it out & its a 0 281 001 427 & it came off a manual car by the way. :(

Thanks Alf, but I have one on the way now (touches wood). I will update this post when it arrives. I do appreciate you looking it out though. The numbers on yours are correct apart from the very last digit, which makes it the wrong one. YourS is from a Manual, which  will not fit in an Auto, although apparently it works the other way round. If you are selling the ECU on it's own, it has to go on a Tech 2, and it should be "blanked" first, although early ones may be plug & play, (I am sure someone will confirm this). Thanks again, hope someone can make use of it.
