Surely all Merc owners are wealthy enough to use main dealers only. £100 an hour is nothing to your average Mercedes owner. ::) ::) :)

MB at Bolton charge £108 per hour for Mercedes & a bit less for Smarts ............... not that they're been given a job off me to charge me.  ;) ;)

You can buy a Merc for A decent Omega money, both nice big cars representing good value for money, me I don't have a Merc, only the engine and gearbox...... :D :D :D

At some point in the future when my Diesel Cavalier is dead and gone I will be very keen to acquire an old Merc 190D. ;)
I quite liked my C180 in some respects.I liked its character, but it really was sluggish and only did 31mpg.If Im going to be driving something that slow I want a lot more MPG than that. ::)

I know.... :y To be honest I think the Mercedes is a car to move on to from the Omega, little else assuming you do not want, as I would not, a BMW or Audi...............Nice choice, though I will admit to having to look it up as I am not really up on newer cars.... :-[ :-[ :D

I only noticed one for the first time a year or so ago, and Googled it when I got home. By coincidence I saw one at the same caravan site as us in French France last summer, the owner thought it was the best thing since we started to slice bread. His wife was so convinced & complained at the low 20s mpg until I said I'd averaged 18ish mpg in the Omega.
I've now to decide whether the Omega or the 1700 diseasal should go when the R320 arrives!  ::) ::)

I'm erring on the Astra at the moment.  ::) ::)

Which car are you going to use to tow with, the Mig or Merc? that should help you decide..... :)

Either or .....................
I'm not sure many cars would be much worse than the 18/19/20mpg of the Omega    ???   ;)
