Title: Couldn't have happened to a nastier person
Post by: Rods2 on 06 April 2012, 20:14:11
Looks like Red Ken has met his waterloo over tax.  :y :y :y Couldn't have happened to a nastier more bigoted 'champagne socialist'.

I don't have a problem people staying within the law to minimize their tax bill, but when you lead a vicious campaign against people that do this while you've got your own snout in the trough, you deserve all you get.

Trying to smear your rival over tax, who has paid the full wack, was never going to work as a tactic. Typical Labour snake pit sound bites again. Thick Ken who think's he smart gets caught with his fingers in the till and will miss out on Mayor salary, so smaller overall money, while smart bloke Boris who likes to be perceived as a buffoon, but pays maximum tax, get to keep making big money with Telegraph column and Mayor's salary.  :)

So the less we hear from this two faced bigoted tw*t in the future the better. Go and join that other Labour two faced political snake Phony B Liar in retirement.

Looks like it's now going to take a bit longer before London is a beacon of Islam.  ::) ::) ::)

If this is taken to its logical conclusion then it serves the sanctimonious git right.

It's about time that these parasites were kicked the opps into the gutter where they belong as they’ve fed of the country’s life-blood for far too long. :y

I thought he already had  :-\ :-\ :-\ I'm sure I heard the other morning that Boris had earned £whatever but had been taxed to the tune of £200 000+

A very quick search found ..... http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2012/apr/06/boris-johnson-ken-livingstone-earnings?newsfeed=true

As odious politicans go, Red Ken is up there with the best of them!!  ::)

I'm undecided about this business of politicians publishing their tax records, because as Nigel Farage has pointed out how many years back do we go? Where does it go next, will politicians have to declare their medical records and be lambasted for using private medicine, for example?  Will it deter successful/ capable people from entering politics?   :-\

Ultimately, if a person has done nothing wrong, he/she has nothing to hide and that includes Red Ken using a company to channel his income through so he pays less tax.  As long as he's done it all legally then it shouldn't be a problem!

Ken picked the wrong fight and has been made to look foolish!  ;D I don't think it's the end of the story though.....  ::)

It's to see who gets to run London. A buffoon or a dangerous buffoon.

The one thing that never came out in the witch hunt of MPs and the expensise claims is that they all have to become self employed to do the "job". Does it mean that every self employed person in the country would have to publish their earnings and tax payments if this goes through?? :o   Keith B

Agreed. It just takes a particularly stupid politician to point out the thorn in his neighbour's eye.  ;D
