i was clearing out some stuff in my garden when this car pulled up, a guy got out and politely introduced himself as a coucil planning officer, as i have not done any building work apart from a new back gate, i thought what does he want, some one has reported me for putting a laminated sign on my garage door for my business and informed me that with ouut planning permission i was violating coulcil planni9ng regulations, there had been a complaint from some saddo neighbour :-/ >:(.
he insisted i rip it down there and then.
this sign ws only paper thin and only laminatedand was a prototype for one i was having made up professionally.
whaa sad state of affairs when i cannot advertise my business on my own house. >:(

Have a sign made up that will fit on a roof rack you can then park your car on the road outside your house and providing it is street legal there f*ck all the council can do about it, thats what I do! :y

Hmmm seems to me that some people have lost the balls to actually talk to someone to air their grievancies before taking affirmative action. They would rather hide behind some jobsworth with a clipboard.
