Left my car for just 15 mins in my drive whilst i went to go get something from the house, came back to find my ashtray sat on my seat because some low life scum tried nicking my CCRT 700 Radio!
Must be an idiot, they didn't notice the alpine cd player, cd changer, digital camera or radio removal tool on the passanger seat, only slightly covered up with a jacket!
Anyway, given up trying to refit the ashtray after thinking it might be a good idea to cut out the bottom section and fit my CB radio there.
Anyone any idea how the "walnut" radio surround comes off (got climate control if it makes any difference) and any ideas how the walnut gear//handbrake surround comes off (manual transmission)
Thanks
Craig

remove the radio, & at the back of the open, there's an ally bar that you pull to release the whole 'wooden' bit. :y

Thanks, and do I have to remove all the switches from it?

You unplug them once the front panel is removed.
