Post by: Jay w on 02 April 2008, 16:20:32
Just had this email through and thought it might be of interest if anyone out there hasn't seen C'etait un Rendezvous:

"The legendary "Rendezvous" is eligible for a world record as the best selling short film on DVD.

To thank you for your past custom, and help clinch the title, join spirit level film in a wild celebration of our love for Lelouch and his epic "C'était un Rendezvous".

BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE

Simply order 2 copies, then in the shopping basket, enter promo code 2for1 and we'll deduct the cost of your second copy.

Alas, DVDs don't grow on trees so this offer ends on 30th April and only one free copy per order. However, please feel free to pass this e-mail on to any petrolhead pals.

ENJOY (AND SPREAD THE LOVE)"

All for a box of Milk Tray...lol ;D

If that was the Champs Alisez in Paris, I had a meal at a restaraunt at about 1 minute 53 seconds.

I think the snip is enough, any more and I think it would get boring.

If you get bored watching it that's just the start. You then get to ponder the conspiracy theories. Is it speeded up of not? Is it really a Ferrari or a Merc 450SEL 6.9 with a Ferrari V12 dubbed on top? etc.. etc..

That was a spinoff I think.

I could just listen to that engine sound all day. (even if it's fake. It's certainly not a Merc 6.9 let's face it)

Almost as good as the BRM V16 on my "into the red" cd.
