Just a quick question does anyone know or
Recommend anywhere to get my mates Subaru's
Headgasket done only one place at Newark said they
Will do it £700
Anywhere within 60 miles of Newark thanks,bucko
Oh and it's a 1996 reg

I think I was ripped off at the time, but many moons ago, I had a 214si Rover with a knackered HG, cost me £1400! :o

Grown up and learnt a lot since then though ::) ;D ;D

So £700 on a sports car doesn't sound that bad IMHO :-\

Bugger. Hope he finds someone quicker!  May be worth booking it in anyway, then if he can get it done sooner, cancel the booking. Giving as much notice to the mechanic as possible :y

Drop a PM to Loo-Knee.He had an Imprezza until recently and may be able to do the work or recommend someone who can. :y
