How do you pronounce it? Porsh or
Porsher?
Scon or scone?
Despite the spelling the correct pronunciation is "scon" & i don't put an "er" on the end of Porsche despite owners affectionately calling them "Porkers".
Probably a matter of opinion, just curious! ::)

Barrrrth and Shrowsbury for me.
Also, being a Buckinghamshire boy, we are missing several letters from our alphabet, such as H and T....

Barth, Porsh & Scone.
One endeavours to maintain a high level of decorum at all times.

Reminds me of the story of the tramp who called at a stately home and asked if there were any add jobs he could do in exchange for food as he had not eaten for 2 days.
The butler gave him a tin of white paint and a brush and told him to paint the porch.
A couple of hours later and after a good meal the tramp said thank you and goodbye. On his way out of the door he said " by the way it wasn't a porch it was a BMW ".

None of the above. It's a bread roll 'cos the baker "rolls" the dough into a ball before he or she bakes it. Also it's not called a bun or bon as they get called up here, buns have currants in.
Simple as. ;D
