Title: Failed MOT today
Post by: Chopsdad on 02 April 2008, 18:55:11
So what do you think I failed on?  :-?

It wasn't tyres as I has 2 fitted before the test - 225/55/16v Pirelli P7 before you ask at £81 inc each  ::)

I'll give you a clue - trade cost to replace with genuine Vx parts £229  :o

You suggest its more than one, so a pair? and not exhaust.....

So I'll go for both headlamps, their about £100 each from Vx on TC   :y

Tho i am suprised it failed  :( Mine passed last Nov (bout same age) with quite a few more miles on it i expect.

As I had wishbones last year........somehow Mark nailed it first go  :o

I asked Vx to recheck the price as I only wanted them supplied, not fitted with a complimentary car wash  :-/

"That is the price Sir, with full discount and you'll find it's very competitive" said the unhumerous parts monkey.

In the end I had the MOT garage supply and fit them........

Total bill £173 inc MOT, parts, labour and VAT  :y

Alhough I'm sure they only went cos I read on hear about failing springs last week.........can someone win the lottery soon please  ;)
