Well, at a grand total of 264430 miles my '99 2.5 elite has finally reached the end of the road :'(.
She had a bad missfire that couldn't be sorted (thanks to Elite Pete and Jimbob for trying) and also had gearbox issues and the mot was due, so rather than throw more money at her I have bought another and have started stripping the gas conversion off to swap over, and then she's off to omega heaven.
She was given regular oil and filter changes and other service items and ran really well but I suppose sooner or later she had to stop.
It just goes to show if these engines are looked after they will clock up really good mileages.
I maybe wrong but I think she had the highest mileage on the forum?
so who is going to take up the honour?
