There's only one way to get the updates done - and that's by someone with a genuine, current and up to date Vauxhall/Opel TECH2 (hardware and software subscription)

I'm guessing in Iran that would mean a main dealer - assuming they have an up to date subscription (if they don't then it's entirely possibly the TECH2 will say "no updates available").

Or you could by a second hand ECU with the update already on it ;)

Also bear in mind that the latest version available depends on the car configuration. It's not true to say that V9 is the latest available for all cars. Can't remember what is latest on a 3.0 off the top of my head, though. :-\

As said, the firmware is only available via a fully updated TIS subscription and a Tech2. This will offer any upgrades possible for the car's configuration if a check is made, so it could be that yours is already at the latest version?

He gets the software from Tis2Web or GlobalTIS. He will need the subscription.

The only way to tell what version is via Tech2, SW Ver.

Worth posting up TCM type (eg, GS820, GS821, GS8211) and current SW Ver, and we can tell you what latest is.

If you car is older than 1998, it cannot be upgraded.
