Title: problem with bros beammer

brothers bmw 316 auto,has problem.light on dash (snowflake with appostrophy)come on says tell tale lamp , not to be driven and taken to dealer to have work done on it,anyone know what this problem is.when light comes on he cant do no more than 15mph... :-/
