Had a letter come round today regarding our payrise.
If you earn £7.59p or less an hour you're getting a 2.5% raise, if you earn more then your not.
Guess where i come into the equation, yup above £7.59p so no raise for me >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
So we have increased VED, fuel increases, council tax increases, gas, electric, the list goes on.
F%$&^ng winds me up big time.
If i see a brand new Bentley parked in his spot i'm gona grab a forklift & stick it on the roof.
The useless tosser had his stupid face in the local paper the other week, because of all the money he's got & he's on the FT rich list too.
He's one of the greediest people i've ever known, thinks nothing of buying a company for what he wants & then pulling the plug & putting people out of work.
Rant over, but i'm still >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

I think most of us mere mortals are in the same boat this year --- naff all or very little in the way of payrise and enormous increases in the outgoings.
I really thin we have a 90's style crunch on the way -- hope I am wrong. Take heart tho -- I usually am wrong !!!! ::)

i`ve gotta talk to my hdp manager next week about my proposed pay rise..they are taking our sunday premium off us and replacing it with a 50p an hour pay rise i worked it out the other day i`m gonna be £150 quid a year better off??? plus we lose our day in lieu for working bankholidays and they fall into the same rate of pay as a normal working day....no more double time and overtime will only be paid once you go past 90 hours worked over 2 weeks i.e. 45 hour working week...and if i refuse to sign said new contract after 3 meetings my contract might be terminated.... :o

Ask you bosses why - if they can afford big expensive cars they can afford cost of living pay rises.
Great way of encouraging job disloyalty

the folk who predict financial trends are they called economists ?? well just after christmas one of them said we would all be in deep sh%t goods and such would increase ans wages would mostly be frozen . he blamed the usual suspects but added that the government had bitten off more than it could chew with the Olympics.
