Yes, it was an experimental variant - the hope was that if the door was armoured then they could dispense with the costly and sometimes problematic ballistic glass needed for the front and rear screens and side windows. :y

There is an 02 plate 3.2 MV6 not ex plod, for £995 in Stockton, just not had the time to go and have a look to see if it is as good as the pics suggest..... :( :( :(
