dont think it would need much as they were not know slouch as a v 6... :y

Mate of mine had one a while back. Sounded awesome, but sounded better than it went. Must be more to come from that engine, surely? I wonder how easily?

Think it's a push rod Mustang engine? Heard its very, very tuneable & loads of performance mods out there. But no doubt had to be restrained for emissions and such from new  :-\

They were 260 bhp out of the box I think,bugger all for a near 5 litre engine.

Ford Modular V8 IIRC, so yep .. you name a tuning part, you can buy it, often from Ford themselves. (Well, Ford SVO)

A colleague of mine has the estate version sounds beautiful & believe me perfomance is more than adequate , in 2010 while in the states we hired the 4.6 Mustang & could not fault it  perfomance is superb  & for it's size is reasonable on fuel.
