I think I know the answer to this (and I'm not gonna like it!) but my CID has started showing a bluish tinge when showing the junction zoom on Nav. I don't remember it being like it before I parked it up in November but I may have seen it a couple of times :-\
Is this one of the warning signs that it's on the way out?

I guess turning off intersection zoom isn't growing to fix it? :(

Kind of just hides the fault really ::)
It occasionally does it anyway. Thought it was flickering due to low battery or possible a little dampness when I first got it going (it has been stood 4 months and still passed the MOT :y) but it's back in regular use now and hasn't completely cured itself yet :'(

Might be worth checking the plug connectors, dash out job. Maybe?

I'd probably remove, and get airflow through it for a few hours to get condensation out

I'll see how it is for the next few days... Need the car available at a moments notice at the moment ;)

The car will work without a CID ;)

It may well, but I need to be able to use the nav, listen to the radio and the phone as well ;)
