Title: astra cutting out when idling

any suggestions?     it stutters, the revs drop a smidge, then it splutters and cuts out....   only while stationary...    2001 , 1.6 8v mk4 astra

any lights on dash ??? if so a code will be stored
BUT ----
i suspect being the astra the main culprit for this is the throttle body, whip it off and give a good clean with carb cleaner  :y

it may have an idler valve that needs cleaning now and again :y :y
