Title: Brake scenario!help

Hiya knowledgeable one's,i'm having problems finding the correct fit socket to remove the two retaining
bolts for the caliper mount bracket :17mm too small -19 mm too big.
Can,t find an imperial size to fit.Any suggestions ?Answers pleaseeee.

Yep 18mm and use a 1/2 drive :y

I've found a lot of crud build up on my caliper mount bolts...... might take a bit of wiggling on ;)

Plus also, if yours is anything like mine they'll be really difficult so brake it loose with a wrench first..... then a few hard smacks with a hammer (i hit it between the hammer head and handle.... seems to get more force and i don't miss!)

As said, its 18mm, a size missing from many cheapo sets I'm afraid.

Yes my kit is a cheap one which usually do the job without an 18 mm.

18 mill hradened sockets also less common. Annoying.
