I hope Mike does'nt mind me saying his car has some hefty mods & he declares them hence the high..ish premium.

Very similar story here only last week. Renewal quote jumped excessively from Admiral. Check on line on comparison site, a new business quote was considerably cheaper. From....?

Admiral. £1600 down to £900 for two cars on multi car.

had the same problem with tesco £920 with all the trimmings etc >:(, went to admiral and did a multicar now down to £580. :D
would have stayed with tesco, but to increase my premium by £200 without any claims was not good :(,i could understand it if i was 20ish but im 54 for god sake ;D

Must admit, hearing all these quotes hiking up I'm quite glad I pay about £2500 and have everything covered ::)

Trouble is, no windscreen cover so I had to pay for the chip repair I had done yesterday ::) Although a small, local independent was far more reasonable and has quoted a decent price for replacement screens too :y

Depends on the company and what trade ;)

Not a real issue... I'm not going to claim on insurance for a £30 repair anyway ;)
