The Daily Telegraph have included an interactive display for christian name registrations from 1996 to 2010, which is quite interesting. Type in your name and see how popular it is:

Over the 15 years where my name is unusual only 91 babies have been given the name an average of six babies a year. That's why I like my name as it's unusual. :y :y :y

Wasn't Flossie the name of the sheep of black adder ?
Bet there all from Wales
-
200 up to 1996. None since!
-
255 Geoffreys 96-2010
It's an exclusive club. But seriously I thought there'd be more than that.
Unsurprisingly there are thousands more Mohammeds than 'John' for example.

Flossie!
Dentists everyone of them.
But here's a new game for you: if I spell my name 'correctly' with an 'h', the popularity has halved.
If I spell it 'Nicolas', it's doubled!
Isn't illiteracy wonderful?
-
I think you mean "Int illtracy wunderful", Nick.. ;D
My name has been steadily declining in popularity since the graph starts; although there are a lot more of me than I expected! Still close to 1000 a year, if memory serves.

Whatever you've heard, I've never met 'ill Tracey' in my life.
Any pictures you've seen must have been photoshopped. If that's a word, which I doubt.
