OK, so he has strange a fetish. But why should that preclude him from F1?

I don't think Merc and BMW will let his Nazi bottie slapping lie. It is likely to be found a bit more offensive to them than it is us.

Besides, a figure in a high profile job isn't going to be respected if he's not seen to be respectable.

He wasn't respected before we knew he was not respectable, but that's another matter. ::)

BMW, Mercedes? The Germans are particularly sensitive about the Nazi angle and that will prove his downfall.

Apparently he's already been barred from Bahrain this weekend.

the worlds highest paid ciggy sales rep (ecclestone )will probably decide his fate. but if he does go maybe FISA will no longer be known by those in the know as "ferrari international support association". ;)

No not a bit - a lot.

Motorsport is the only place his dads lunacies have not detracted from life.

Oswald was a complete fool

 ::) A typical N.O.T.W story; fame, money and sexual predilictions....but hardly a career-breaker!
Surely, there`s nothing-new about rich blokes getting caught with their pants down whilst engaged in sordid antics like these. ::)

what he does in his private life is exactly that,  private. to be honest i cant stand the man. I think hes in love with the sound of his own voice
and cant ever remember him saying anything that i agreed with. If he does get the sack i bet Ferrari wont be happy

The point is that although the act was in private, the video has made sure it is no longer so.

Given the fact that it was not an "average" encounter, he will not be able to retain his authority. Can you imagine him chairing a meeting, especially if he's facing a vote of no confidence.

"Gentlemen, I don't think I should be bound by this vote. You cannot make me a whipping boy for this episode. I urge you all to show restraint"

You'd hear the gigling a mile off!  ;) ;D

i think the problem lies in the alleged nazi roleplay ,not very wise considering the family history and he is president of world motorsport which obviously includes people from many different "persuasions".the german manufacturers are very embarresed (dont mention the war ),and they will probably be after his head on a stick.hope they get it as he is a 24 carat tw*t.

Ja, das ist richtig, Debs.

Of course, I forgot to mention how he could conduct the on-going F1 discourse on tyres:

We need to consider the wear on the rubber during the course of several hours of action, especially when you right behind someone for most of the time.

 ;) ;D
