Title: Insurance time again. (Multicar policies)
Post by: Mr Skrunts on 02 May 2012, 17:11:32
Admiral Multicar want £612.53 from the info that fell through the door this morning. Phoned them and gor them down to £557.03

managed to get the prices off them that I have paid since I joined them but feel these prices are the original quotes as I remember payinganything in the £500+ bracket before.

Also miffed at the fact I now have 4 years NCD on the 2nd car but yet I never see the benifit from the premium reducing.

Any body know of any other multi policy companies or is it worth ringing round as 2 seperate policies.

I'd have a good ring around and compare the meercats ;) You now have 4 years NCD on the 2nd motor so it may make it cheaper to insure separately ;)

Direct Line are currently advertising Multi-Car policies, although they are the same group so you may not get that far :-\

Having spent some hours comparing quotes this week, I found it was still cheaper to get individual policies, much cheaper than all the multi-car quotes I had. :y

direct line is a rip off
A bit of a generalisation there bigyin54 - I suspect for some, they are competitive.

My insurer, the cheapest I can find when renewed last November, is probably a 'rip off' for some.

;)

I agree, we only went down that road to help Master Vamps get a start and build up some no claims... :y
