Title: VW Golf spare key
Post by: Sir Tigger KC on 04 May 2012, 01:22:01
A friend has just bought a 57 plate VW Golf 1.9 TDI and it only has one key.

Apart from going to the VW dealer and getting fleeced for a duplicate, what are his options?

Thanks  :y :y :y

As Martin42 says.....or a mobile car locksmith....

I used to use one when i rented cars and sometimes had to take them back because of unpaid rent on them......

After getting them back....

Used to get the mobile locksmith to make another key and get him to unprogram any other keys from the ecu expect for the keys i had ..... cost me about £90 a time  :y
