i put alloys on my moggy minor, trouble was in 1987 i was only earning 95 a week and had to buy and fit one alloy a week, they were 45 each with tyres. it looked very stupid for the first 3 weeks :-/

that front alloy (if they're the ones you're referring to) might have been on a facelift silver irmscher omega which now has 18" irmscher sportstars on..........?
but maybe not
