Germany Scraps Plan to Raise Ethanol Content for Cars

Environment Minister Sigmar Gabriel told a news conference in Berlin today. "We don't want to take responsibility if several million people who drive old cars, only because they live on lower wages, have to use expensive'' fuel, he said.  :y

If our lot said something like this, you would be waiting for the punch line.... like VAT is going up to pay for it! ;D
