Title: Vacuum Pipe?
Post by: roberts_1409 on 11 May 2012, 20:24:40
Just noticed on my Omega (2.5 V6) that I have a hose completely perished.

It comes from what looks like a vacuum valve of some sort by the slam panel, and goes down to what looks like a pump by the horns on the nearside.
Just ordered what I think is the right hose, but does anyone know what it actually does?

Car seems to be running the same, as far as I know, maybe a bit slower than normal.
Cheers
Craig

Air injection pipe, simply disconnect the pump and ignore it.  :y

What MDTM says, unplug pump, and ignore it.  Mine has long since disintegrated

Oh right, not important then.
Does it affect MPG or power at all?
