Title: massive thanks to James!!

can I just say a big thank you to James for coming over today to do the cambelt/waterpump/etc on Morticia and also alaying my fears about the main oil seal.

Seems the cambelt rollers wern't in the best condition, so its probably just as well that I havent driven the car for the last 2 weeks.

Breathers all cleaned out (gunk central), and new camcover gasket and o rings fitted too.

Car is running very nicely, so roll on taking her to France in 3 weeks time  :D

Also, thank you thank you thank you for letting me drive your 3.2 V6, what a beast, I loved it, and blowing away that Audi A6 with barely a touch of the throttle was huge fun - but did I love your Omega as much as you liked going out for a spin in the DeLorean?   ;)

haha!!  there's nowt incriminating on FB, but the one of the car jacked up with your legs sticking out
is a classic 'caption competition' picture.

All I can say is, when the time comes to replace Morticia, I think I'll be hunting down a 3.2 Auto   :y

I'm just drinking a tin or two of Claires beer...

I will then go to sleep, get up tomorrow, coffee and bacon butty, and I will be on the road. Car is already loaded up :) :y
