Post by: custard1 on 13 May 2012, 22:37:49: I thought i would get some greif for having that exhaust, i had it in the shed and it wouldnt sell so just got it put on by maniflow wich done an amazing job, its not loud to be fair. But i do have plans for the car just need to do other things first. Thanks for the comments

Yesterday went to bormouth and what a lovely day it was, when i got back i cleaned the inter cooler out and boost pipes as it had oil in it, must admit it does make a difference, in the process i had no choise to brake the front pennel as one of the star screws wasnt budging but hey dont need it so in the bin it went, im going to get the window screen replaced as cracked, oil catch tank so it doesnt get oil in the boost pipes and so on, get the body work up to my standered, poly bush what i can, refurb the sexy alloys, new brake discs and pads and powder coated calipers, decat and polised in let and service. Thats my list to do or aim towards.

Aye matey the voice of V6 is amazing especially after 3000rpm not to mention the power of it. Anybody try they fall in love at once with it... :y

Post by: custard1 on 28 May 2012, 16:29:49: I have now sorted out the seat belt as got it from scrappy for a fiver and all fitted :) so now I just got to sort the window screen out and then body work so getting there, also I had an idea for the bonnet I want to get some sort of vent or scoop to help cool the inter cooler as I have been looking if it was possiable to front mount one but there is no chance for the pipes to go through. I do have pics but they are on my phone and can't upload them onto here using it

Where did you get yours and did you get problems with fitting?
What about motorway is it just noisy or VERY LOUD.I'm after something which looks good-more about look than the sound.Yours looks awesome :y

Post by: custard1 on 28 May 2012, 21:17:31: Thanks bud and the make of the back box is savage universal one and I had it fitted by maniflow over saulsbury and they done a fantastic job fitting it so I recomend them any day as for noise its not noisy at all just the same as a normal one really as its a dti but in going to have maniflow do me a decat as well once everythings sorted out and yes a nice vent to help the intercooler but still playing with ideas to be fair. Post by: Johnny English on 28 May 2012, 21:49:02: My former car was a Calibra that had similar exhaust like yours, which was really LOUD :-\ so when I bought my Miggy the size of exhaust was a bit scary but during the first short trip I was getting calm absolutely! :y
