Please find attached a picture of the control unit for levelling the headlights. It is fixed in position, there is however about 15mm of movement on the arm. If this looks ok can anyone suggest why I'm getting the message "low field of vision". The lights are definitely too low as I have had them checked.

Do both level motors work? Can you hear them operating when lights are switched on? Have you checked the rear sensor on the trailing arm? Bottom left in this pic

Yes I checked the trailing arm sensor & it was ok. What I didn't say was that the fault is intermittent. However it spends more time not working than it does working. It can work off & on whilst on a journey.

Are your headlight adjusters inside headlight ok?? if you pop off the mainbeam rubber boot & VERY CARFULLY make sure the headlight internals are not broken??? by trying to move the inner lense dont pull on the bulb or its wires!!!
because 1 of mine is busted.. when it does its headlight updown check when you turn lights on, the n/s sometimes doesnt move or will catch & pull it upwards or it slips & drops down because the adjuster is broken giving me 1 of 3 things,
headlight looking for the pigions in trees..
headlight correct..
headlight trying to look down the drains..
maybe worth a check???
