Title: Olympic torch relay map

Looks like there will be some good events nearby to. I wonder if they will have more of those Greek goddesses that helped light the torch?

There is some super info on each of the torchbearers.

Looks like it's bypassing us. Not enough brown paper envelopes delivered to the IOC, obviously. ::)

.. and what's a "idiotter heatmap"?

I watched the plane touch down at RNAS Culdrose earlier this evening and hope to watch some of the torch bearers tomorrow morning :y

I thought it was being run for the whole distance, looking locally it is not, it must be going into some form of transport, guess that is the dotted line...this will be my only interest in the games, give Miss Vamps the opportunity of a once in a lifetime experience, only a couple of miles away from home..... ::) ::)

Little runs through the towns then into a van and onto the next place, seems a bit of a cop-out to me ???

I watched Lands End this morning. Good stuff. Hopefully there will be good turnouts around the country.

Like a fool, I thought the men and women in grey running as outriders with the torchbearer were athletes. Turns out they are security/police. A few people were elbowed out of the way and one guy was manhandled!! Bet they thought he was a terrorist. Shame but that is the modern world we live in.

I went into Helston this morning to watch the torch bearers and it was quite a good show, god knows what its costing to police it,they were everywhere, local plod and met plod outriders plus plain clothes cars fully loaded. It's sad that this amount of security is required for someone running with a gas torch :-\ :-\

There was a lot of commotion outside our house at lunchtime today, and I thought I had better go outside to see what all of the fuss was about.

Many of you will see the olympic torch go past, but lets see how many can get a picture of thier own house on here with not just one, but TWO olympics torches lt at the same time. They did the changeover right outside our house !! Ours is the big house right on the corner, and Lisa, who can be seen hanging out of one of our windows got a much better view than I did, but we have yet to download her camera.
