Title: Tax online.
Post by: Field Marshal Dr. Opti on 22 May 2012, 17:57:21
It really couldn't be more simple.

With my debit card, a credit card will cost an extra £2.50.......I have taxed my Omega for another year at a cost of £270. :y :y :y

Using witchcraft, the DVLA already know if you have a current M.O.T and insurance.

The whole process took less than five minutes. :y

No more queuing behind the fat bird at the Post Office from now on. :y :y :y

Also, no more searching for the right MOT and Insurance Cover Note ::) I always try to "Do it online" to save all the hassle :y

Those of us who are a bit younger than Opti have been taxing online for several years now.

I usually get my tax disc through the post in about three days. However, in the wilds of Lincolnshire, the pony express may take a tad longer.

I used to until the nearest small one to me was rude because I had pre-paid postage on things >:( I told her that it was no surprise PO were closing if all the staff were as sour faced and rude as her ;D

I don't use the larger local one because it's too much time queueing up ;) But do use a very small village one whenever I have to post anything :y
