Anyone reccomend a decent insurance company??? done the compare sites and they vary between £460 to £1200!!
At 43 yrs old and 25 yrs NCB i thought it would be cheaper than the Rangie but it's twice the price!!

I'm with Esure.  I currently pay about £250. :-\

I took your advice once before, Steve.  They're quote was twelve digits long. ;D ;D ;D . Apparently they believed that I was 17......owned a Ferrari and lived in Wakefield. ::) ::) ::) :)

That's obviously the reason. Mates of mine in Liverpool pay three times what I do.

Also depends on your job title.
For example if you work with IT Systems in an office, putting something like Data Processor is cheaper than IT Consultant.
Also, add a 2nd person to the policy (ideally a female) and it will being your insurance down.

its wrong that they look at what job you do to help decide on your quote

If your wife has her own car you should try the multi car policy thing as we got a fantastic quote off them for the two cars... Omega 2.2 and Nissan Micra.... £53 per month for both... The AA that i was with wanted £55 per month for the Omega alone...
