Title: Hid issue
Post by: GmasterT on 24 May 2012, 00:29:59
Hello chaps, friend of mine has a Mfl elite and the left headlight is aiming high (ie the chrome reflector at the bottom is right up against the lens) sadly he lives a fair way away (Swindon) so could only ask him to try things. He said that out felt solid so hopefully isn't an adjuster. Would a failure of a level sensor cause just one light to go wrong though?

Cheers  :y

the motor can fail on the adjuster for the light try changing it or could be a lose wire on the motor plug could just need cleaning.

I'm fairly sure he did, as in just took the whole unit out and put the old one in. He said he only plugged stuff in. Also said the t old/test unit started with the reflector about a quarter on an inch of the lens and then it moved close/facing up as per the original problem...
