I work in an office that's all glass and it gets pretty warm at the best of times when the sun's out, but now there's a bit of hot weather, bang on time, the aircon system's faulty. >:( I kid you not, it's like a bloody sauna - if you've ever been into a large greenhouse on a hot summers day, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Why do these things go tits up when they're needed most?? ::) Ah well, the ice cold beers are going to go down particularly well tonight I feel. :y

Our environmental control hasn't worked for about 10 years, so cold in winter, baking in summer.
I'm told, today, that one of the call centre girls in the office (yup, our client has a small call centre in our large open plan office) has turned up wearing little more than a hanky. Bugger, I'm at home :(. From what I can gather, none of the blokes in the office have a spare hanky, should the lass need a spare......

Been there previous office I was with, took all office paper bins. Filled with ice and filled with cold drinks. Been on a train too with failed air con. Not a nice experience!

I used to work in an glass office like that.
Aircon never failed , but....
The bloody thing was ceiling mounted and it was blowing in my head, and I couldn't move anywhere.
In summer I was half frozen, my face couldn't move and in the winter the face looked like a land starved of water for ages ;D
