Title: Should've checked first
Post by: flymofred on 24 May 2012, 16:22:25
I've shut the bonnet and left a  small plastic cap in the channel on the wing top. The bonnet closed ok but is high on the side where the cap is. As a result I can't unlatch the bonnet or get to the cap. The operation of the bonnet lever was marginal before and was on my list to fix. So now all the lever movement is taken up by the cable stretching. Any ideas please.

Pull the cable and 'bounce' the bonnet. You'll need two people but be very careful doing it!
