Just seen this regarding a bug in IE7
http://isc.sans.org/diary.php?storyid=1804
Better safe than sorry.

Just read some comparisons of IE7 and Firefox 2. I think Firefox 2 wins by a large margin - IE7 seems to be incredibly awkward to use (although still an improvment over IE6) and still full of bugs and security holes.
If you want to be safe, switch now! ;D

still full of bugs and security holes.
Undocumented features you mean ;D

Been using IE7 for a while now & once I got used to it; I like it.
I also use Firefox 1.5.0.7 (no updates available) & don't think there's a great deal in it (security aside!).
Didn't know about Firefox 2, think I'll check it out ;)

Thanks for the tip TheBoy, I did it and it worked! And just so you don't call me lazy again, I actually went into the trouble of doing the picture for the How2: ;D

Here's a link for Firefox 2 (http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0/win32/en-GB/Firefox%20Setup%202.0.exe) :)

I installed the wood effect skin just before I went to work 8-)

Just be aware, all you firefox fanatics, that firefox had more critical security alerts in the last 12 months than IE....
Don't fall into the Linux users' trap of thinking you are safe and don't need to regularly patch...

Stop it now please. You're all making me paranoid. Just downloaded a free trial of zone alarm pro, think I'll end up buying it.

software firewalls give false sense of security as well.
Learn to use one in your router, assuming it has a decent one. If it doesn't, get a new router. Or a seperate firewall appliance.

i was using IE7 Beta for a while seamed very stable, but as soon as i upgraded to the full version it crashed the time!
Reformatted my laptop since, and put firefox back on ;) - I just find it a more stable browser

Not a fan of IE7 despite using it for about 2 yrs now on 2 machines. I stick with IE6 on most of my PCs. I have yet to see any advantage of Firefox, and plenty of disadvantages...
