Hi all,
In regard to removing the lpg kit from a car, I have what may seem like a stupid question.....
If there is gas still in the tank and I remove the gas pipes from the tank or from the front end of the kit, does the gas escape or is there a valve that stops this?
Apologies for the question, just don't know and will be attempting to strip the kit very shortly :-[

The tank should have an electronic shut off otherwise it doesn't comply with current regulations ;) It may also have a manual wheel to shut off if you want to be extra safe :y
There will be liquid in the lines so when you disconnect them wear gloves and do it slowly in a well ventilated area away from drains ;)
To reduce the amount in the lines a little you could disconnect the electrical connections to the rear solenoid and insulate them, then start the car and switch to LPG until it will no longer run at all, even at idle ;)
