I'm with Martin. Easy peasy ... only about 10 bolt holes to drill, all pre marked out so you can't get it wrong (as easily) & even if you don't use the 'proper' wiring loom for the 12N (lighting) electrics they are easy to fit. 12S socket  is a little more involved (caravan year dependant) but still easy. I'd personaly fit one of these (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bosal-Tow-Bar-Swan-Towbar-Vauxhall-OMEGA-Est-94-98_W0QQitemZ300207137820QQihZ020QQcategoryZ10404QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem) for looks, but each to their own.

I bought mine for £35 off ebay and fitted it myself. All holes are marked, and its just a matter of opening the holes.
Wiring info off OOF site.

Definitely look at DIY... Unless you're willing to part with £200 ish at a guess!

I wasn't far out!! I was quoted around £250 for a Witter with twin electrics fitted to a saloon but luckily the one I got in the end already had one fitted!!

Still, wouldn't have paid that sort of money though!

Is the estate towbar different from a saloon?. I have one from my M reg saloon available for a reasonable fee, and I work in Leeds during the week.  :y

Yes, the estate is quite radically different from what I saw under Marie's car last weekend. Saloon towbar runs longitudinally, mounting on the bulkhead behind the front bumper and the rear crossmember by the diff.

Estate bar runs transverse and attaches either side behind the rear wheels.

I was imagining something like a main spar in a lancaster bomber.
