Title: 19" Alloys

19" Alloys

Is it ok to put such a big wheel on the mig or best stick to 17's or 18's? :-\

Suggestions please  :)

Rob: what's the ride like, I've seen it mentioned the ride can be quite hard because of the low profile?    Also, what are the tyres like to replace?   Ouch coming next ;D ;D ;D

Dunno, it`s not me with 19`s :D. Tyres will be bloody dear. Send Matt a PM he was/is running 19`s with that size tyre

that pic was my old elite estate. i did have them on the mv6 but they are in the shed awaiting new boots. :y

As Kev said to me once..."I wouldn't go bigger than 18's personally" as the tyre is the first point of the suspension.

Having said that, I have 35 profile on the back of mine at the moment, on an 18" 9j rim. Seems ok.

£62 each. Imagine the grip when braking hard in the wet...... Suicidal!!!! I ran 225/35/19 on the front and 235/35/19 on the back, the ride was not good but it did look  :D :D :D
