...they may be sold to someone else.
Elite pete was selling some facelift parts, after some messages I agreed to buy a pair of mirrors off him, on the 27th may. He replied with payment details on the 28th. I had a busy weekend, and finally set up payment to his bank as requested on the 6th june. I got a message today saying he had sold them to someone else on the 31st.

Works both ways unfortunately Ken. :( I`ve held certain parts for up to three months and been let down by "buyers" >:(
-
I think its had to become "the first with the money"... ...rightly or wrongly
-
And no I can't reclaim the money, its a Bank transfer not paypal, you will have to make a payment to me. I paid by bank transfer, a bit more complicated, so you wouldn't have any paypal fees.
Caveat Emptor

Pretty sure Pete will get the refund sorted Ken. Maybe a PM would have been more prudent ???

Yep agreed - why post this when a pm would be the more obvious way to deal with it ???

As you say goes both ways...... I've been trying to arrange a date to collect an lpg kit. After days n days of no replies after paying a deposit, I've had a text back saying "here's your deposit back, it's too much trouble basically" >:(
Not f*%king impressed >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

As other sellers have pointed out, the amount of times i've agreed a sale, sent payment details and nothings arrived is unbelievable and the minority spoil it for the majority :(
I do work on a first to pay basis and this is the first time i've let someone down but I will continue to work that way.
Ken, i'm sorry and maybe I should have sent you a pm saying that someone else was interested. I will issue a refund as soon as the money shows in my account.

I should point out this is NOTHING to do with Elite Pete, I was just commenting on the points that were raised :y
Apologies Pete if this looked as if I was hinting at you mate :-[
