Hi all due to the sucess of the last meet back over easter weekend was thinking of another one in the summer july august time. Was thinking of a cambelt meet if anyones intrested be same location as last time use of workshop facilitys available ramps SOME tools and maybe a barbie if weathers nice!!!!!!!!
So What does everyone think

My availability is piss poor this summer. Although, I doubt I'll be fixed by then, so I'd only be there is a

lol kool im going to put up a poll as to weather we havea cambelt or general meet does anyone mind putting a lil towards leccy and use of ramps, tools as well and if weather nice martins SWMBO Will be doing the bbq so abit to the food. ;D i kno i will :D

I think i will be tackling this eg new filter etc clean out (WITH NO SHOWER INBETWEEN)
no luck on that wire today rob could not see it and couldnt read the box make couldnt get there (rain) :(

Could cost you as much as second hand box, and you know the problem will still be there after. :( :(

Could cost you as much as second hand box, and you know the problem will still be there after. :( :(
we know that but SWMBO Wants it done i have tried to explain to her but i will have to prove it ;D :D

you will need 10 ltr of fluid that in itself will cost you in excess of £ 50.....word of warning do not buy your gearbox gaskets / filter from vauxhall.....they want serious amounts...think i paid £ 30-£ 35 they quoted i think £ 150.... :y

iv tried to explain to swmbo but she will not fork out for gearbox interferring mother in law as well so she wants filter n fluid changed so im going to do it to show em :D ;D

I voted for General meet.
Although I know Rob has a love for laying under Omega's tinkering with gearboxes (I know this from personal experience) I think we should deny him this enjoyment, just for this meet.
We could make it a general meet, with anyone that wants to do their cambelt doing them. And, just for Rob, he can go under and check a few things on my gearbox.....That way, everyone is happy. LOL!

Yeah it was about a meet looks like peeps want a general meet so I will organise it with martin and get back to you all kool beans :D 8)

Sorry guys had to put everything on hold at mo family things to sort out plus no money plus road tax up plus insurance and 3 kids and wife to feed as well so going to have to hold off till September/October time now sorry I will arrange as soon as back on my feet hope all is well ;)
