Yes I know, it was just because it was local, I described it to Miss Vamps as the inside of a baby's nappy.... :D :D :D

Just been looking around the club sites, been a member previously, no meets locally now, there used to be, this is a head over heart thing really............I still have a factory workshop manual for the V8, won't be making any decisions at this time of night though, need a clear head for such things..... :D :D :D swmbo has just gone to bed and gave me a kiss, so she must still be talking to me....... ;) ;)

Yep, been there, done that, should even still have the socket...... :y :y

a quick bit of research and I think the colour is holding the price, better colours are towards twice the price..... ::) ::)
Ironically my last P6B was red and I spent loads of time and money changing the colour of the interior to 'Biscuit' something like this one is... ::) ::). If, and if, swmbo is coming round, I was to buy that i would have it painted yellow and have 'wolfrace' wheels fitted, and if i were to honour my real dream it would have wide arches fitted.......drooling now..... :D :D :D

It would look nice like that...... :y :y
Sensible head on, it is not going to happen, I could buy a really nice 3.2 for half that price, mind the Rover is real mechanics, no computers or eml lights..... :D :D :D

I asked him if he would put a new MOT on it, this was the reply....... ::)

At full price I would it wud fly threw a test it's soild

Head has been thinking, so looking less likely.......no other bids and a minimal reply, and his reference to it's colour makes me uncertain......... 3 days to go, on my watch list.......... :-\ :D ::) ::) ??? :D

Plenty of tuning mods for the V8, Mr Vamps. I believe that TVR bored it out to 5 litres and 340 BHP.

No need to tell the insurance boys..... ::) ::) ;)

Morning all,
I once had a 3500S-the 4 speed manual.
People wouls laugh at it because I'd replaced a lot of the panels and they were all different colours (be careful with rust on these as it all four wings can be replaced with good ones in under an hour-look underneath-especially in the boot well and inner sills).
Howver, it used to wheelspin in 2nd gear and go like the clappers. Brother had a Capri injection at the time and the Rover would leave it for dead.

Don't let stories of the rear brakes put you off-I used to drop the drive shafts off the diff and then change the pads-very easy.

Steve

I assume that when ebayers "buy their own car" they have to pay final valuation fees etc. so it seems like an expensive gamble to me. :-\
