Title: Unipart wishbones - oe ?
Post by: albitz on 11 June 2012, 12:06:50
A pair of new Unipart wishbones which according to the seller were bought from Vauxhall dealership who told him they are the same as genuine, just different packaging. Sounds like a load of old tosh to me,but he is a 5 minute drive away,so if they are decent quality I might have them.

I didn't think Unipart where a GM supplier.  They do make pattern wishbones, but I have little experience of them.

Dont actually need them at the moment (I only change them if they fail the MOT  ;D) but these were five minutes away and £30 the pair,so if they were good quality I would have had them as spares. ;)

I have Unipart wishbones fitted to mine, got them at £27 each through work, the rear bush seems to be of a much better design to me and seems less likely to fail, was cheaper than the previous pattern part I fitted which last 5 days before the rear bush failed, no complaints with the Unipart ones so far.

I've used Unipart wishbones on many cars (although not an Omega :-\) and have found them to be of good quality :y
