Title: What is it about my rear end?

I'm sorry I've been off the forum for a bit lately.  Too much stuff to sort out in the 'real world'!

Now, do you all remember when I was 'rear ended' and had a new bumper fitted? and how, after fitting reversing sensors in that new bumper to protect it, I reversed into my gate post whilst testing them?

Hmm.....Well, Mrs Hillper and myself were at our local, enjoying a well earned sweet Sherry, when, unknown to us, someone in a car with a towbar, was busy reversing into that long suffering rear bumper and making good their escape.

This time, the damage is noticeable, as the little hole where the towing eye goes through is all deformed and the bumper is graunched on the drivers side.

Luckily, the incident happened directly in view of one of the pubs CCTV cams.
Of course when the index number of the perpetrator is revealed, no doubt we'll discover he has no insurance.

I give up trying to keep my car looking nice!

Welcome back Hillper - bad luck though..... :(

But i do believe in Karma and if he has no insurance he could be looking at a ban by the time the police include no tax, no mot, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident  ;)

Sadly, I gave up on it a long time ago... street parking in central London is no way to keep a car in top shape!  :(

I keep noticing scuff marks on mine.....and think im sure that wasnt there last time.....usually caused by inconsiderate people parking next to mine in carparks and just whacking their door against the side of mine  >:(

Dont get me started on supermarket car parks >:( I am always so carfull when opening the car door not to hit the car next to me but the world must be full of fvckwits that don't take the same approach as I do . the amount of little ding marks down the side of my moter is infuriating and the car being black makes them really show up.rant over!!!
