Title: Starting problem
Post by: stuartd on 13 June 2012, 13:11:04
Hi All,

I have a 2.6 V6. In the last week, the starter turns over, but engine does not fire up.
The turn over speed seems to be faster than usual.

So far, it has then started after a few attempts.

Stuck a OBD machine on it tonight to see if there were any errors reported. Nothing reported.

Any suggestions?

Do the pedal trick, expect an 0335. http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90581.0

Did the pedal trick - got "no error". Also borrowed a OBD - no reported history either (unless pedal trick clears this).

Where are you in Cov? I carry a spare crank sensor in my 2.6 - I'm may be in Coventry tomorrow eve if you want to try a swap.
